Etwinning has become part of my daily school life and I always have an ongoing project going on. I am very passionate about making school life interesting for my young students and e-twinning always brings a lot of fun and diversity.

I am a Primary School teacher currently teaching year 5 at Hamrun GP. I have been an active eTwinner since 2009. Integrating projects into my teaching has helped both children and myself to feel motivated. Children enjoy working on projects as they learn to interact with others and improve their skills. Learning becomes fun and more enjoyable for all. As an eTwinning ambassador, I encourage friends and colleagues to start a project with their students.

I am a Head of Department of Digital Literacy and my role is to support educators in Primary State Schools in embracing digital literacy as a Cross Curricular Theme as suggested in the Learning Outcomes Framework. This is done by collaborating and assisting all professionals in enhancing their use of technology in the delivery of curricula. In fact I am regularly involved in teacher training, in-service courses and school professional development meetings. I help SMT, other HODs and support teachers to promote a positive approach to Digital Literacy. I am also actively involved in encouraging, training and supporting schools and teachers to participate in eTwinning initiatives.

I am a digital literacy Primary support teacher and I have been an active eTwinner for the past 11 years. I consider these past years as a learning curve where I had the opportunity to collaborate and learn from other educators while participating in eTwinning projects. I have also been involved in different seminars/conferences where I was able to share my work and support other eTwinners. Being in the role of a digital literacy support teacher in primary schools I learned how to promote eTwinning and encourage other educators to take part in projects. During these past years I have also learned how to coordinate projects, organise eTwinning events such as eTwinning celebrations, visits from other foreign eTwinners, support schools while participating in projects and encourage them to take part in various eTwinning events.

I am an Early Years Teacher and I have taught both kindergarten and primary years. eTwinning has become an interactive learning journey for me and my students shared with classrooms both locally and across Europe. eTwinning makes learning fun which encourages both educators’ and students’ creativity and enhances motivation. As an author of children’s books published by the National Literacy Agency, (Ninu, il-Pustier, Ir-Ronda ta’ Ninu, il-Pustier, Il-Ktieb tal-Fantasija, Fil-Ġnien ta’ Pablo Picasso and Ċensinu u Van Gogh), eTwinning projects inspire me to write about what young children are interested in and I use the books as a context for such projects. I strongly believe that through eTwinning collaboration, students and educators benefit from a successful learning experience, therefore as ambassador I encourage educators to try it out!

I am a teacher of Italian and have been involved in eTwinning projects since 2012. I have also been involved in Erasmus plus projects which help a lot for the communication skills of the students. From my experience in eTwinning projects, I can say that eTwinning is a useful tool for increasing motivation in the learning process. Students become more autonomous, persistent, self-confident, make more effort and show a desire to communicate with their partners.

I made new friends through the use of eTwinning which also helped me in finding partners for both Comenius and Erasmus+ projects.
