During a school assembly, Junior 4 students proudly shared their summer 2024 project — a creative continuation from Junior 3 that kept their writing skills sharp over the holidays. They showcased personal journals as keepsakes of their summer learning journey. The event also celebrated the 20th anniversary of eTwinning, highlighting the school's commitment to meaningful learning and international collaboration.

To mark the 20th Anniversary of eTwinning a 20th Anniversary wall of projects. The school had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Rose-Anne and Ms. Antonella who visited all the classroom participating in the four projects. The event raised further awareness about eTwinning amongst the various students and educators.

EkoSkola students led a presentation during a special assembly on their findings from the eTwinning project Exploring Soil, Animals and Climate Effects. They shared data on soil bugs, rainfall, air temperature, and soil temperature, comparing results from Malta and partner countries. As part of eTwinning’s 20th anniversary celebrations, the project emphasizes real-world environmental learning, global collaboration, and cultural exchange. The students' work reflects the program’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and meaningful education.

St. Paul's Missionary College - Ekoskola team | 22nd May 2025

On May 22nd, students from Malta, Slovakia, and Greece joined a lively video conference for the eTwinning project Exploring Soil Animals and Climate Effects. They shared their work, played a collaborative game, and celebrated cultural diversity. To mark eTwinning’s 20th anniversary, students sang "Happy Birthday" in multiple languages, enjoyed a cake, and ended with a final song—highlighting international friendship and learning.

St. Paul's Missionary College - Year 2 special assembly | 14th May 2025

The Year 2 Lions participated in an exciting cultural exchange as part of their eTwinning Malta project. They performed the Maltese song "Fir-Razzett" for students from various EU schools, introducing farm animals in Malta. Other schools also shared traditional songs and facts about farm life in their countries. This virtual event celebrated the 20th anniversary of eTwinning and fostered international friendship, collaboration, and cultural appreciation among young learners.

eTwinning Secondary Schools Scavenger Hunt, Buskett Gardens | 13th May 2025

Our celebrations continued on Tuesday 13th May 2025, thanks to our very dedicated eTwinning Malta team in collaboration with the DDLTS - Directorate for Digital Literacy & Transversal Skills. Successful celebrations took place at Buskett Woodland alongside Secondary School students and educators, in which eTwinning Malta organised a number of interactive activities that included a hands on scavenger hunt using the Action Bound app, plenty of sunshine and collaborations with Central Public Library - Malta Libraries

Sir Adrian Dingli Pembroke Secondary School | 12th,14th,16th May 2025

To mark the 20th Anniversary of eTwinning, students took part in fun 5-minute games that promoted teamwork, creativity, and European collaboration. The event raised awareness about eTwinning in an engaging and inclusive way. Each participant received a certificate and a small token from Dr. Rose Anna Camilleri, Head of eTwinning Malta.

St. Benedict College Pietru Pawl Saydon Secondary School Kirkop | 9th May 2025

The 9.2 students marked the 20th anniversary of eTwinning with an exciting online meet-up with the project partners from the Across the Skies project from Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Portugal and Slovenia. During the Teams session, students broke the ice with fun games, took part in a quiz, and shared interesting facts about their countries. They also discussed what they loved most about the project so far – working in teams, using digital tools, new friendships and discovering different cultures. To make the day extra special, our students enjoyed traditional Maltese treats like figolla cake, mqaret, almond pastries, and other local snacks – which they proudly introduced to their European friends!

Here’s to more collaboration, connection, and cultural exchange – the true spirit of eTwinning! 

Gozo College Agius De Soldanis Middle School | 9th May 2025

Gozo College Middle school celebrated the 20th anniversary of eTwinning with a fun and educational digital scavenger hunt. Having been proudly involved in eTwinning since its very beginning, this milestone felt extra special. The event ended on a sweet note with all Year 8 students sharing a delicious cake.  A truly memorable experience for everyone involved!

Last Friday, our school celebrated the 20th anniversary of eTwinning with a fun and educational digital scavenger hunt. Having been proudly involved in eTwinning since its very beginning, this milestone felt extra special. eTwinning Scavenger hunt at Verdala Palace, Rabat  | 6th May 2025

Our very dedicated eTwinning Malta team together with the DDLTS - Directorate for Digital Literacy & Transversal Skills, successful celebrated eTwinning's 20th Anniversary alongside Primary School students and educators at Verdala Palace. eTwinning Malta organised a number of interactive activities which included a special visit from MEYR Permanent Secretary Mr. Matthew Vella, a scavenger hunt using the Action Bound app and collaborations with Central Public Library - Malta Libraries .

Celebrating eTwinning 20th Anniversary in Gozo | 3rd May 2025

A very successful fun day for celebrating the 20th Anniversary of eTwinning at Villa Rundle Victoria Gozo yesterday. As part of the activities related to Europe Day, Europe Direct Gozo organised the ‘Europe Day in Gozo 2025’ event. eTwinning was invited to set up a stand and organise a number of activities namely - a panel discussion, scavenger hunts using the Action Bound app and a card competition. As special guests we had a visit from the Gozo Central Public Library.

Kinder 2 class and Ms Sharon joyfully celebrated the 20th anniversary of eTwinning at school. The children selected images using Canva to create a colourful poster marking the occasion that highlighted the spirit of collaboration and learning which eTwinning stands for. In class, they sang together and enjoyed a special cake to celebrate. It was a fun and meaningful way to feel part of the wider eTwinning community!

To celebrate eTwinning’s 20th anniversary, a special session was held with students and educators from two Maltese schools as part of the Jobs4All Erasmus+ project. The event highlighted eTwinning’s impact, explored AI in future careers, internet safety, and netiquette. Educators were guided on platform registration, while students created avatars for their profiles, marking a forward-looking celebration of digital learning and collaboration.

Ġgantija Temples in Gozo - Kerċem, San Ġwann & Mtarfa primary schools | 26th March 2025

Our Year 5 and Year 6 students at Kercem Primary joined our eTwinning partners from Mtarfa and San Gwann Primary Schools for an exciting visit to the Ġgantija Temples. We connected live from the ancient site with students from Greece and Poland, bringing history to life through a fun and interactive digital treasure hunt! We also celebrated the 20th Anniversary of eTwinning, marking two decades of fostering international collaboration and learning.
